SAP Application Analyst Sales and Logistics

Purpose of the role:

The Application Analyst SAP Sales and Logistics will be an integral member of the Europe IT SAP Competence Center and will work very close together with the other Process-, Application- and Technical Analysts. The team operates in a challenging environment between Project- and Service Management. Together with the team the Application Analyst will be responsible for and act as 2nd line functional support on existing SAP environments and will also participate in new SAP Projects. The Application Analyst will have the functional end-to-end responsibility from requirement analysis to delivery for SAP Projects and Changes. Members of the team will work independently with both external partners and the business to successfully deliver business solutions.

The SAP Application Analyst will be based in our office in Breda (The Netherlands) and will be required to travel to other company locations from time to time.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day re-active and pro-active application support to (internal) customers
  • Follow-up on Incidents and Change Requests
  • Setup and configure the application according to Business Improvement Needs
  • Deliver on backlog and change request items 
  • Participate in (international) Roll-Out Projects from functional blueprinting to go-live
  • Respect project and documentation standards (end-user, training, testing,…)
  • Deliver on Change Requests and participate in new projects in all project phases

  • Secure internal team backup and collaborate with SAP CC colleagues Align with external Service
  • Providers in case of improvement changes or projects for which internal resources/competencies are not available.

Key functional competencies:

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3 years work experience in a similar role or position
Business (process) understanding and analytical capabilities – through working experience
Expert knowledge of the following SAP modules:
        SD (Sales, shipping and transportation, billing, Intercompany, EDI),
        MM (Procurement, Inventory Management, Physical Inventory, Logistics Invoice Verification, EDI)
SAP implementation experience – minimum 1-3 projects – as implementation consultant Operational business experience in SAP application environment – as SAP knowledge
